2018 SUMMER CAMP  |  FAQs

Who can attend?

The camp is for boys (grades 9  -12) interested in playing collegiate soccer.

How do I pay and do I need to sign any waivers or forms?

Payment is processed at the end of the online registration. Through doing the online registration you will electronically sign off on a medical waiver, which is the only form we need. If you are unable to do so, please email bbeaver@haverford.edu with any questions. Players attending part-time must also complete the online registration.

What is your refund policy?

There is a non-refundable $100 deposit at time of registration to reserve your spot.  At 10 days prior to the start of camp no refunds will be given, only credit towards another clinic or camp.  For specific refund questions please email Ben Beaver at bbeaver@haverford.edu.

Are there educational seminars during the camp?

Yes, we have a coaches panel, a player panel, as well as a motivational/educational speaker lined up to speak with campers.  Each panel is discussion based to encourage dialogue between campers and current college players/coaches.

What should I bring?

  • Campers are provided with a red and black-colored pinnie at check in to wear during training.
  • Soccer gear including shinguards, outdoor/indoor soccer shoes, tape (players must provide their own), and in general soccer gear for rain or shine.
  • Water bottle.
  • Sun block.
  • Money for pizza at night.

Who will coach us at camp?

The coaches at camp are head and assistant coaches from a range of high-academic DI and DIII programs.  Each camper will be coached by one of the coaches at least once during camp.

Am I able to commute to camp?

Yes, we have added an option for commuters who do not wish to stay overnight and are able to stay local with a family member or family friend.

Is there a shuttle/transportation to Haverford from the airport?

No, there is not a shuttle from the airport to Haverford.  Campers flying into Philadelphia are encouraged to take a taxi/Uber/Lyft to Haverford, which is about a 20 minute ride.

Can I request a roommate?

The majority of dorms are singles within a quad of four.  You are welcome to request to be put in a quad along with another camper.  For specific questions please email Ben Beaver at bbeaver@haverford.edu.

Where do I check in?

Check in will be held next to Comfort Dormitory.  A detailed map with more information will be emailed out in the weeks prior to camp.

What if I have a food allergy?

The dining center is buffet style with different options that are sensitive to most allergic needs.  For specific questions please email Ben Beaver at bbeaver@haverford.edu.
